Re: Sirens You Have Filmed

I just threw this together in like 15 minutes but it still works! Basically everything on this map was recorded during June, July, or August because that's the only time I get to go see them. Yes, I've filmed many more sirens than what's uploaded on my channel. This year I went to four tests but I h...

Re: Darley STH-10 Siren Map

The Shelbyville, Kentucky one was removed a few years ago.
Nice map, never knew there were that many of them. Let alone any on another continent!

Re: AI Generated Siren Photos

Here are a few images I generated on DALL-E That one with the lightning and the text (just like the real life Thunderbolt one) looks really cool! If only the "siren" didn't look more like a parking lot light  I tried making some AI siren images a while ago, and they looked like eithe...

Re: The weirdest sirens ever seen.

I've been working on a map of every known Sterling Siren to have existed for the past 5 or so months, and I have come across many weird things during that time. This, however, is the crown jewel of all oddities and atrocities... Meet Biscoe, North Carolina's ROTATING Model M. https://maps.app.goo.g...

Northernmost Kentucky Siren Map

This is my map of Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties in Kentucky. I'm going to try to make a full map of Kentucky, which I'm partly the way to, but we'll see about that sometime. Tell me what you think of the map, as this is one of the first maps (along with Fayette County) that I'm actually very ...

Re: Miscellaneous Siren Photos Thread

3V8H-B. Replaced a 2001. Yes you read that right! Wauneta Nebraska. Im not sure if the 2001 was relocated. Nice find! The same thing happened in Versailles, Kentucky a year or two ago. A 2001-SRN got replaced by a 14V with awesome colors. Unrelated, but somewhere around central KY has a 10V painted...

Re: The Civil Defense Sirens Wiki

Dang this is packed with information! Pretty much every other source for siren information (not including these forums/its wiki or the siren info spreadsheet, of course) only has like, two sentences and barely anything useful, if at all. This though is absolutely filled with information and very wel...

Re: Undiscovered Coronado CA Siren???

Ahaha, I saw the nearby building in a meme (the symbol... you know what I mean), and decided to check around on Maps. Found something that resembles a siren nearby, which you saw, and I desperately tried to find a picture of it with no luck.. until now. Good one on spotting that!

Re: What siren is this?

Sterling. I'm not familiar with Sterling model numbers but it's something 5 or 3, probably an M-3 like you said.

Re: What are your favorite siren models

Fairly certain there's already a topic for this but I love Alertronics (mostly the rotational ones), and Sentries, especially the 3V8 or 20V1T. 2001s are also high up on my list because they have a lot of variety and history.

Off-topic but I also like Gentex fire alarms, specifically Commanders.
