Re: Historical MN Sirens Map

Also one more thing, the other Allertor is a 9/12, not a 10/12 one like the manor park one.

Re: An old siren part of the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant Mystery Siren

That's a skirted C-125 by the looks of it. Or it could be a skirted ACA Cyclone

I did not expect the blades to look like that. Reminds me of B&M a little bit and Sterling.

It looks like a Hormann siren to me, but I'm not a expert myself so somebody needs to correct me.

So, somebody recorded a video of it doing a short alert, and it certainly doesn't sound like a Type B. The siren sounds 12 port.

Re: What is the most mysterious siren?

The B&M Compressed Air Siren. It's got a unique siren design as the rotor is connected to a fan where it's powered by compressed air. What I find interesting is the lack of units that exist today with the only known one in a museum.

Re: Another Siren Mystery - Sterling...Denver...or What?

I just noticed a tag on the conduit box for the motor... Maybe it tells what this thing is, or the brand of the motor?(Sorry for the bump.)
