Actually, they aren't used to cause calmness. They help drown out ambient noises (like conversations). It's to protect your confidentiality while you are in with your doctor. Arrested for what exactly? I wonder what the charge would be? if someone has a bug up their bum, I suppose they could hit you with something like disturbing the peace or disorderly conduct. that nameplate makes me sad. worth noting that Chrysler still produces engines in Trenton, MI; Trenton North was the plant making engines for the siren. Now, Trenton North makes parts to feed other facilities.

probably a model 3 or 5? Model 2 had the cap and two "skirts," the Model 3/5/7 had the cap and one "skirt."
