Re: Updates on the Cosgrave sirens?

I have made direct contact with Talia. We know the exact location of it. It is currently in limbo as far as a restoration goes. Me and another veteran member on this forum are the first contacts if the Cosgrave would need to be passed on. With respect to their privacy, I will not be revealing any ot...

The STH-10 by the pizza place was the only one replaced because it no longer worked. I'm pretty sure they only bought a rectifier and Eclipse siren head and that everything else from the old STH-10 was re-used.
This is what it appeared to be the case. Went by it this morning

Re: West shore services shipping?

Do they ship into other countries? Because I wanted to know how much it might cost to ship an FS&S Model 2 to western British Columbia Yes they will, just contact Mike Leavitt. He can get you a quote if you are a serious buyer. To all the others on this thread, they have no problems shipping LT...

How come there was a Hurricane at the event? Who owns it?
It might be Matt U's (videogamer's) hurricane, but I don't know either.
Dale Moeller personally borrowed both the Cylcone and Hurricane to SWS for Sirencon.

Re: A siren explodes during testing

Probably had a casting flaw. Decot had a large pit that he would lower each siren into for testing just for the this type of failure. Asc has a similar sound-proof enclosure

Re: Decot Model 12 Red Arrow Restoration

After I got the final parts of the torsion brackets installed, I then fully bolted everything up and flipped the decot back upright and looked at my work. What a simple machine this is! Here is how it will sit for Sirencon. Ready to test. One of my farmer buddies has 240 3ph, so may sneak over Memor...

Re: Decot Model 12 Red Arrow Restoration

I was feeling uneasy about leaving the short OEM Decot key on the chopper shaft. All I need is to wipe out the keyway on the shaft the first time I fire it up! I pulled the lovejoy off again, installed a new full length key, and then reinstalled the couplers. I then reinstalled all the legs and fini...
