Definitely the same siren. Am I seeing the pic correctly? Is the insulation completely gone from the wires going up from the collector rings to the chopper motor? Wonder if it was burned off. Hope not..... :shock: I think that is just the hemp type rope they used to hold the wires against the chopp...

I took some more photo's of the thunderbolt today. I really do think this is the salter park t-bolt. too many in the same spot rust marks to be just a coincidence here's so in serivce pics Tag Side - Has rust dent at bottom right. and rust spot on CD decal http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd151/EL...

there are now two modulators on Belle Isle now.
The only other siren to hear downtown would be the one in corktown. but I don't know it's status.
Also all sirens are getting solar panels.
