Whelen 2902 With Long Distance Ambiance - Ft. Benning, GA

I went with my grandfather today to record this tiny Whelen. I think I broke the record for longest distance siren with this one. 2 Vortexes, 560 and 435 Hz, from 10 miles away in Russell County, AL and Sentry 16V1T-Bs from 7 miles away in Cusseta. The camera didn't pick the Sentrys up too well. It's at the beginning of the video, turn your volume up. For some reason the voice one these sirens with ESC-2020 logic sound clearer than the ones with 2030s. Maybe it's something with the recordings that Ft. Benning used. It's located in Harmony Church about half a mile nort-of-west of a decommissioned 2nd. generation 2001-SRN AC/DC. Unlike the rest in the system, this one has AC charging; the rest use solar powered chargers.
