London Township, MI Modulator 6024 12-30-15

Monthly test of the outdoor warning sirens for Monroe County. This Modulator 6024 is located along Wanty Road just north of Sherman Road. This siren for some reason did not activate with the other voice sirens, but did eventually go about four minutes after it was supposed to. Before it went off, while the other sirens were blasting, faint squealing was heard from the drivers, but nothing audible enough to be picked up on camera. This is reminiscent of the Whelen 2016 located at a cemetery in Petersburg that activated 20 minutes after the other sirens and only ran its alert cycle. Not necessarily a failure, but it could be an issue if it continues to run late like this. Burns and Noie were planning on joining me for this test but overslept.
