Shot on August 6, 2016. This is a monthly test of the Union County Emergency Sirens. This siren is tested at the first Saturday of every month at 12:05 PM ET (Union County Fire Dispatch tests their normal fire/alert sirens almost every Saturday at 12:00 PM). Sorry about some wind gusts heard in this video, there's no windproof screen attached on the camera for now. As this siren started up, watch the bottom of this siren to see the bird fly out! This siren does have a bird nest inside. This siren is located in Jonesville, South Carolina at Jonesville Fire Department off of Haile Street and Webber Street near Main Street and a gas station.
