Just like with the -130 recording awhile back, I headed back over to Henderson County due to the overcast skies, and the fear of Evansville not testing (they can be a little finicky sometimes).

Back in 2009 Ian Tate recorded this same siren at Community Park but, the disk inside did an insane 20 RPMs since the gears were seizing up from low oil. That has since been fixed and it now rotates like normal. This and the old Thunderbeam along the main strip on US 41 (that's now gone) had that issue. Nice to know they at least fixed this one. It was a fairly nice test and since I parked in a more distant location, I was able to hear the effectiveness of the Thunderbeam's disk which "beams" the sound toward you.
