I'll cut to the chase with this one:
My school, like all others in the country, are having new safety regulations imposed on them, some are ridiculous (like having a smoke detector in nearly every ceiling void) and some are pretty important. A couple years ago the police came by to talk to senior management about the prospect of increased violence towards children in schools and ultimately, how to stay protected in such events. They basically said "get a lockdown policy drafted" which means have an alarm system that everyone can hear and a set of instructions that teachers can use to direct students to safety. Instructions: fine. Alarm: not fine!
So school asked me to do something so I showed them my electronic siren and they asked me to test it. Here's the video of me doing such thing.

They liked it so much, that on the same day they asked me to install it. Now all I've got to do, 2 months on, is make a radio for it to also activate the old bell tower, and with school no longer co-operating, I'm going to have to probably do it all myself and have to spend <£200 on it. Oh dear.
