Im sorry for blowing up this post like crazy but as a musical enthusiast and siren enthusiast i absolutely adore these videos and since nobody else has uncovered these Wonderful pieces of technology might as well share them so you guys can enjoy them too! Found one with the dampers opening! appears to be a slide cover of some kind. this is from August 25th of this year

I really would like to see pictures of the one that was first mentioned (the Kojo no Tsuki as I belive it is called)... I managed to somehow find a link to the (presumed long lost) recording of the Kojo no Tsuki: here it is, fortunately archive.org had it saved

The Sendai siren broke down in 1987, the recording I found seems to have been taken in 1983... I've tried digging up pictures of the Sendai siren, but to no avail.
