I decided to go back to Watertown, this time with a tripod and better video recorder, to record their Screamer at City Hall. When we got there, I set up and waited (we had got there 20-ish minutes early). At 11:59, I started recording. 12 o'clock comes around, nothing. I start to think that they may have cancelled due to it getting cloudy. This thing has been known to go off late, or not go off at all, but I knew that wasn't the case, because I wasn't hearing the 2001 at the high school. I decided to keep recording, just in case. At 12:03, this thing fires up. And boy did I jump. It was loud, but I was fine standing by it with no ear protection (I have never worn ear protection to a siren anyways). I could hear the 2001 at the high school throughout the test, and you can also hear it some in the video.
Wilson County's system consist of mainly 2001's and some Sentry's, but you have some randoms sirens like this one, a Denver in Lebanon, and an Eclipse 8 in Mt. Juliet.
