San Angelo, TX Ambience (June 1, 2017)

Mon May 11, 2020 6:47 am

Here’s a video I think you guys might find interesting. This is quite possibly San Angelo’s final siren test.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8H9wlpeZsxQ

I filmed this when Angelo’s sirens were still being tested pretty routinely so unfortunately I didn’t think it would be all that important to catch the wind down. (Darn it past me!!)

Sirens audible include an Allertor and one (maybe two?) 4/5 Thunderbolt 1000Ts. The Allertor pictured is another one of Angelos Allertors and is not the one heard sounding off in the video.

All of San Angelo’s sirens have long been disconnected and are in the process of being removed. The city’s taking advantage of everyone staying in and the sirens are finally being taken down, I drove past where the T-135 once stood and saw nothing there. I’m sure the rest of the system will follow suit. 😔
i am brave i am not scared or terffied

Such a shame. I was out there about 5 years ago and saw a couple of Allertors.

Its a Shame that the P-50, Allertors, T-bolts, and SD-10s in San Angelo are all going gone.
