So I decided to take a trip down to Apex to record this nice 2910 that is part of the nearby Nuclear Power Plant's System. This replaced a Thunderbolt 1000 in 2007. This one is very healthy, and pretty loud. There were some men who jumped because they were surprised. But as always, it was a fun experience, actually my first recording ever, and props to Duke Energy who set it off on time.
Sirens for SHNPP are tested on the second Wednesday of January, April, and July. It was sprinkling a little, so I had my doubts. The talking in the beginning is my mom thinking that it was cancelled due to the weather.
