Well I finally got around to recording the Redfield Thunderbolt 1003.
After many requests (urrrrgh) I decided to hit up the 1003, a 1004 and get a audio recording with my micro-recorder.
The siren was supposed to sound at 6:00 PM but they had a delay, I contacted the fire department and a firemen who was responding to me said they were having to set up for the meeting and that they would be sounding the sirens at 6:30.
I waited and at 6:15 they sounded the sirens, This Thunderbolt (1978) has a FC on it and no it didn't mess with the wail signal they set it that way on purpose when the installed this Thunderbolt.
It really made me jump
and it rumbled my body and the ground as well.
The Mod 1004 up at the behavioral school did go off but they had a 3T22 that over powered it, as for the recording, they had to replace the original Mod 1004 head with a Modulator II 1004B head with a MC, I think a speaker driver broke halfway through as you can hear a squeal on it.
