15/20 Port Decot Siren Documented

Wed Jan 20, 2021 10:53 pm

Hey all!

After recently moving out to North Dakota for an internship, I found a Decot Engineering Works siren in the town just south of me, Forman. After receiving confirmation that it indeed was working, I swiftly seized the opportunity to make siren history. A few things to note:
1. It was about as loud as a Model 5; not too loud, but it's shrill and definitely grabs your attention.
2. It's really high pitched
3. From what I'm told, is extremely rare!
Have a listen! Enjoy!

Ah, this was posted in the mystery sirens thread. Thank you very much for confirming the model.
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.
