Finally had the chance to record a siren test in Columbia... Usually, I'm in class when they test, but the Missouri statewide tornado drill actually fit into my schedule. It was pretty loud- I had three 2001's (SRNB/1-130) within half a mile of me. Boone County used to have a system of mostly XT22's and a few Thunderbolts, but they've been slowly replaced over the past several decades by 2001's and a handful of Modulators. This is also the first video I've taken with my new camera... it was a little shaky because I was zoomed in pretty far, but I'm much more satisfied with the quality.
