Recorded on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. This is a video of my Modulator 6048 doing Alternate Wail. It is also known as "Siren Head" tone. Thanks to Tyler for repairing my control board. I plan to do a distance of this later on. I did this test apart of my siren weekly test. My next door neighbors heard this siren and thought it was interesting. This is the first time I've heard a Modulator doing Alternate Wail. This is the best/high quality audio recording of a Modulator doing Alternate Wail on YouTube. Please note that not all speaker drivers are wired for this, only half of them are wired (24 out of 48). This siren is loud by the way. The Thunderbolt (left) is the main tornado siren. The STH-10 (right) is inactive for now. The siren you hear is in the middle. I own all 3 sirens shown in this video and privately owned. **I DO have permission from my local EMA to test my siren(s) weekly and use for severe storms/other emergences. I got the Modulator 6048 from Jeb in 2018 when it was removed from service. Siren was in bad shape and sounded terrible when it was removed and replaced in Gainesville, GA. I did a lot of work on wiring. I had Tyler repair the control board for me. This video took me 6 hours to upload. I hope you guys enjoyed the video.
