Free to use, public domain siren audio

Mon May 31, 2021 10:27 pm

First off, I would like to apologize if I've posted this in the wrong forum. I'm kinda inexperienced here.

As a siren enthusiast who has recorded quite a few sirens in the wild, I'm glad that I've seen and heard many of them. I've decided to release some audio files of these sirens, as the concept of free-to-use files and software is appealing. These aren't generic Hollywood siren sound effects, they're real recordings of actual sirens(Like the Allertor 125, 3v8-H & STH-10, to name a few). As the recorder of these audio files, I hereby dedicate these audio files to the public domain. You can use them for anything you want (Synthesized Ambiances, Movies, Video Games, etc.), with or without crediting me (Railroader3921) as the creator. New files will be added as I continue to record new sirens.

UPDATE 7-21-2021
-Added sounds from the 2001-130
UPDATE 8-22-2021
-Added sounds from a Whelen 2000R, an 8-port Darley Screamer, a Sentry 10v, and a Whelen westminster chime.
UPDATE 11-03-2022
-Added sounds from a Federal Signal Model 2T, a Darley 3v8, a whelen air horn tone, and a ASC eclass westminster chime
