NEW SIRENS Near St. Clair Township, Ontario

Thu Sep 17, 2020 2:49 pm

So I was on Facebook when St. Clair Township Fire Department posted this:

Just an FYI that Shell is testing a new siren warning system so you may hear the sirens in the vicinity of the St Clair Township Plant. They have put out messages regarding the testing but we just want everyone to make sure they are aware it is not a real emergency.

I also want to know what Model/Brand they are.

Can anyone help me find those new siren locations?

this is exciting! :D :D :D :D

Thanks,

This is great to hear! I'll have to head over to that area one of these days when I'm off work. I'll see if I can find any sirens for you. I hope they are not more ATI-HPSS32s like Sarnia's.

Yeah I hope they are Eclipse 8's or Mods...

I hope its a modulator as that is much better than an ATI if its an eclipse 8 that would be very exciting to see!

I'm guessing ATIs since those are used heavily around Ontario. Or Mods maybe.

I've spotted at least four DSA sirens at the refinery. I also saw a new DSA siren at the NOVA plant in Corunna so there are probably more.

Are you able to give me the location specifics so I could put on my map?
