Re: Lowest mounted Siren in US

This Thunderbeam is pretty low to the ground, one of the lowest I've personally seen (the building is pretty short irl).
I've driven by it a couple times and I always forget how big these things are until you see them from an unusual perspective!

I don’t even know. I saw it on an old post, and noticed it was low. I think it’s a sterling, but I don’t know.

Pretty much nothing can beat listening to Danny Harmon's railfanning videos while hunting for railroad signals in the middle of nowhere Ohio.

A while ago this 'bolt: https://www.google.com/maps/@44.9745793 ... 6656?hl=en was posted here. And I thought it was kind of funny that it was replaced with a Vortex that is even lower! https://www.google.com/maps/@44.9745812 ... 8192?hl=en
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

Is this the same siren? viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2560&start=240
They seem to have basically the same setting and mounting configurations.
