I got a ?

Mon Apr 18, 2022 9:53 am

Ok I got a tag that I took off of my former 1003 siren
It says this data:
1003, 10, T2533-D, 480/208-240, 60, 3, 12
It was take off of the garden City SD thunderbolt which I sold to another enthusiast, and my Darley Model 2, and my ACA Screamer

I am simply wondering if my former T bolt was a 480VAC operated siren, if so then it was a first for me to see cause usually I see 208-240/480 not the other way around

Oh that's an interesting question, here in Australia we run 3 phase as 480v and 240v as 1 phase, so this is something I'm intrigued by. In theory, I'd guess that it could still run anywhere from 208-480v on 3 phase.? No expert though, probably wrong.

Did you take note of how the blower motor was wired?
