Not a Model 1. To me it's too thick to be a Model 5 as well. There was a time when Federal did shrink their Model 7 housings in California owing to metal shortages, and given that's it's recorded and it's an 8 port siren, I'm quite confused.

Could it possibly be some offshoot of the Model 3?

That’s actually a single phase, 8 Port Model 3. It was probably from around the 1940’s when they had to use a different kind of metal due to WWII. It sounds like it has a cast-iron rotor in a video I saw of it. It still sounds noon blasts daily with Pierceton’s Model 7 downtown and sounds for 3 minutes of attack for tornado warnings/SWA.

Here’s a video of it from a couple years ago that I found. It’s doing attack for the SWA Tornado Drill/Siren Test.

That's a very nice Bluebird Vision complimented with a nice T-128 install! Never realized how tall those towers were though.

It's a late 90s or early 2000s GMC. But yes, a nice installation overall.

Actually, the 'N-5' is a Sterling M-3, N-5 is a misnomer and a siren was never produced with that model code.
