Hello Folks,
I am finishing up a station alerting install this week for a local station. The last part of the system is to remove the old Federal timer and tie the siren contactor into the new logic controller that runs the entire system. Not generally a big deal, but I am looking for some info on the old timer that is currently configured as I have never seen one like this and would like to know some more about it. What is interesting is that currently there is a relay that makes contact for 80seconds once triggered. It seems as though this federal timer must run for the entire 80 seconds that the relay is closed. Anybosy seen these before or deal with them? Seem like a rather basic timer?
