Considering they look like 2700s to my eyes, yes, they're that old.

The WPS-2700 series was sold between 1988 and somewhere around 1993 or early 1994 before being phased out for the 2800 series. I think these might be later units considering that have four supports holding each cell together VS the 6 seen on some of the very early models made around the launch of the series in '88. They should have analog ESC-864 controls if they haven't been upgraded.

What the heck. This system is a ghost system. Dallas Emergency Management knows nothing about it and they say the water utilities own it. I call them they have no idea it even exists here is the location for the sirens. just paste it in google maps.
Location 32.869497, -96.827551
Location 32.858637, -96.844229

If anyone lives near one take a picture of the label on it and email it to me ([email protected])
or if anyone knows anything about this or has time to call everywhere and ask them. if you find out email me ([email protected])
Looks to be some old Whelen 2700's I better get a closer look at this :geek:

Alright, here’s what I know.
The system consists of five 2750s, at these locations:
(32.8693507, -96.8277186)
(32.8586261, -96.8442005)
(32.6856156, -96.8081472)
(32.7420735, -96.7839446)
(32.7392131, -96.7525202)

They are tested every six months, the last test was October 24, 2018, and the next test is in the first week of April.

Thank you Jared. Do you know which date and time or not as of now? And will you be recording this upcoming session?

As sad as it is, I have discovered as of 7-13-2020 all 5 2750's have been removed. :(
