HOR Model 50

Mon Aug 12, 2019 1:45 am

I came across this, not familiar with Si-rex but could not pass it up in its condition. What are members thoughts on this type? Biggest I have ever owned and I am a relatively new member of those who love sirens.

Is this the one that was on eBay for a couple years now?

Maybe, if that one was in phnx. I was able to go pick it up myself, would cost a fortune to ship I imagine. Also a Federal type 2 and model A owner here as well as the new HOR.

Dude that's awesome! There's one that I think is almost identical to that in Adrian, MO. According to the people who filmed it these are incredibly loud. I'm curious to know if the rotator on this one works, a lot of these never seem to have working rotators. Could you post more pictures?
I have an unhealthy obsession with mini sirens.

Oh nice! This appears to be a 40HP model(?) And it has one of the later rotator models as the rotator motor is in the center of the rotator. (Earlier models had it off to the side). This one is likely a 10/10 model, but dont count on me for the ports, it could also be 9/9. This is pretty cool ngl, and it's rare, so take really good care of it

Anyone have a spec sheet, wiring diagram or manual/book on this unit by chance?
