I don't know if you've seen this, but a siren enthusiast on this board (Valtaunous or however the heck you spell it) managed to get the Bullard to sound off a few months back.

O hai.
I own: One complete SiraTone, another SiraTone control module, a 1600W MC, 2 old ATI controllers, 2 round ATI horns with drivers, a ATI-DSA 4 thing, a Federal Signal FC, AR timer and Siratrol, and a small CD&F.

Since there is a lot of Confusion, I live in the city next to Sacramento. I made a map of the entire systems including the 2 Thunderbolts, Scream Masters, Model 5/7s, Super Sirex, and the Bullard. Check it out here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mi ... sp=sharing

The entire System WAS shut down in 2013. As in, the Arden Fair 1003 rotated between 2012 and 2013.

The Arden Fair 1003 is still in fact there, I went to check up on it the other day. The thing about this siren is it is missing a blower. So it can only be heard a little ways away. The Thunderbolt 1000 at SUMP-46, the Super Sirex, and the Bullard have been inactive for god knows how long, I estimate the mid to late 80s (They were not active when the rest were)

All sirens have what looks to be an FC controller, but Tyler pointed out none of the controllers have the black handle commonly on FC's. All sirens have them, including the thunderbolts (The RCM and RCM3 on the 1003 are cut from power, but the FC is powered, same goes for the 1000)

I hope this clears up confusion about the Sacramento, CA siren system.

BTW: Nobody recorded the Sacramento System, unless they kept it private. I've been searching for well over 2 years for a single video of the system. None exist so far.

The Bullard was active until 2010 actually, and the Arden Fair 1003 definitely has a blower.

The Bullard is one of the oldest ones along with the Sirex, and seeing as the Sirex and 1000 were disconnected way before the rest, isn't a stretch to say the Bullard was disconnected at the same time.
The 1003 doesn't have a blower. I have seen it in person a dozen times.

That is the Blower pipe and wires. The wires are cut, and the Blower pipe is capped off with a giant hole in the ground where the blower once was.

There is a PDF from the mid 2000s from the city that includes a map of all their sirens, and it specifically shows which ones are inactive and which ones are active, and the Bullard is among the active ones. Given the Bullard fired right up when they went to activate it for the news report, I'd be rather surprised if the Bullard was shut off before the rest of the system. Only siren that really covers that area, too.

Here is the document in question, I don't think it has been linked in this thread yet. It is on page 51.

If you go on google maps you will see the Bullard rotated in 2009.

The 1003 may still be active, but it has no blower and therefore only has a chopper.
