So I was trying to figure what the unknown siren in Fergus, Ontario is and right now to me is starting to look a lot like a Sterling Y-10 siren.
the place it is on is not a fire department anymore as they have built a new station. this place is now a house.

Let me know what you think it is. It doesn't look like any Carter or CLM I have seen.

That could be a Federal Lion siren.

Yeah very possible looks close but can't see the ports to tell if its a Sterling Y-10 or a Federal Lion Siren.

Judging by the shape of the supports on the end, I want to say this is a Sterling M of sorts.

Also worthy to note: there actually is no such thing as the "Federal Lion". This term was coined from an early advertisement where the siren "Screamed like a lion", and the ad only referred to it as the "Federal Fire Siren". The early Federal horizontal sirens were known as the Model B.

You are correct, although if you want to be pedantic, the tag said "TYPE MACH. B" on at least the early ones.

It's technically called the Federal Model B as has been seen in literature. Federal Fire Siren appeared in earlier literature, so I suppose both are correct.
