I know the thread title says US, but while browsing the Waymarking site I came across this extremely low-mounted Hormann electronic siren in Hamburg:

Well, the power is clearly turned off, but if only that thing was still active.

Grimes, IA unusually low EOWS-612

Anyone else see the 2T22 in the Ironton picture?

Also, in the Rutland, IA picture of the low mounted Whelen, there's a Sentry mounted not even 1000 feet from it.

Yeah some small Iowa towns struggle with siren spacing, Minburn, IA has two sentrys within 200 yards of eachother.

The Ironton 2T22 is I assume the tornado siren but I'm not sure if the model 5 is still active, but I would assume it is.

Is it me, or does the back of the 612 look different? I don't think I've ever seen one with that kind of 'X' pattern...

Yeah I'm not too sure, that sirens history is pretty vague, maybe repairs were done and they put on a new back plate.

I'm going to try to get a recording of it this spring.
