Breslau, ON 2001-130 - What happened!?

So since February, I think Breslau's 2001-130 has not been working but who knows how long it hasn't been working for... the power switch for it is in the ON position as this 2001-130 is AC only no batteries I did see the FC controller box door slightly bent like an arch at the top and bottom ends so it might have got water in the controller or the FC controller processor froze and needs a power reset to work again.
I will contact the Township of Woolwich to let them know it isn't working as it is April and it is only Spring right now they can probably get it repaired before the summer comes around that's when we usually get some severe weather with some tornadoes. Back in August 2017 on the 11th around 7 to 7:30 pm, we had a tornado warning for Elmira, St. Jacobs and Waterloo and the other surrounding areas for an EF-2 tornado that was in Hawkesville, Ontario Elmira did set off the sirens that day and I'm sure St. Jacobs and Breslau did too. The tornado wasn't far from Elmira about 7.30 km away and the nearest siren to Hawkesville was the Lions Park STH-10 being only 5 km away from Hawkesville.
Anyways I will let the township know and post an update if anything is new.

Ok here's an update I was told by the township that it should be working and I went to see it on May 4th and at 7:08 PM it sounds! not sure why it didn't go off the past Mondays since February or longer. Siren now works...

Watched your video on YouTube. The lean on that siren is getting worse eh.

They told me a couple years ago they had plans to relocate the siren. I was at the school when it went off for for a test, and it was just a whisper on the horizon. I believe that is because they placed the it at the bottom of the valley and the rest of the town is above the siren head. I wonder if they've given up on that plan.

Its my camera I was on a bump and it wasn't straight but interesting that they are thinking of relocating it I heard the Elmira FD might be getting a new station built soon possibly this year!.

Interesting. When they rebuilt the Floradale fire dept they didn't bring the Model 2 with it. No idea where it went.

Crazy news!!!

went to Breslau recently to see the 2001-130 to see how it's holding up and apparently the rotator has now FAILED! but still sounds!
