3D-Printed Model 2 Project (just starting planning)

Fri Oct 02, 2020 8:28 pm

I just acquired a 3D printer that has a little more than a cubic foot of print volume. I thought it would be a fun project to print a functioning replica of a Model 2 siren in 1:1 scale.

Is anyone here willing to share siren dimensions with me? I'm looking for chopper and stator dimensions, housing measurements, and so on. I'd love it if i could get measurements for both single and dual-tone models!

I guess no one here actually takes measurements of their sirens to make working models out of them except me? :D

Housing measurements: diameter is 18", height is 25.5".
Not exactly sure of the chopper and stator dimensions.
