Japan has a bunch of mechanical sirens. The electronic things are called Bosai Musen, and they're not the only electronic siren in Japan. I have a bunch of Youtube videos saved I can PM you.
Is there a siren map of Japan?
I doubt it.
I wanna make a map now...

Now THAT is quite the discovery. It's been known that ASC installed many E-Classes in Thailand, but never documented there was a Quadren! ASC must have been there longer.

Also, I'm pretty sure that is a double cell. You posted this picture a little while ago:
As far as Thailand goes Phuket has a system of ASC E-Class EC-4s and EC-8s with at least one SiRcom SiBT-2250 on ASC controls. They also have a Kockum Sonics Typhonic Delta-6, although I think it was owned by the hotel it's mounted to and not part of the regional system. They are used as tsunami sirens.
Do you have a location for the Delta?
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

Not everything is about mapmaking. If you’re going to make it, just make it. Fair warning to all about the quality of posting.

Back on topic.

This is effing cool. Thank you for the discovery.

This is a quick map I made of the system a while back. I think there are a few more in the system on the beaches, possibly another SiRcom siren. The Delta does actually have an ASC panel and appears to be on the regional system.

Holy christ Japan has Toshibas? I thought they used those electronic things (I forgot the name.)
Man I really need to map this stuff.

I am currently in the process of making one. Althogh it might take a couple of months. Theres a lot to pinning and locating to do.
