Possible CAM Siren???

Wed Oct 27, 2021 10:52 pm

So my friend on Roblox told me he had found a CAM siren, but I cannot fully tell if this is a CAM or a Sterling. Anyone here know if this is an actual CAM or something else?

It almost looks like a Federal Electric Type B or some sort of Sterling. I'm leaning towards a Type B as I don't see a Sterling type mount unless it is hidden...

It's a Type B, and it looks like it's missing its chopper?

I've walked past that siren in person many times before and have had it on my map for a while. I've always been sure it's a Sterling M-3. I did just notice from the picture Snowpix shared that the stator has segmented ports. Interesting. I may be learning something new today.

Im 70% sure its a single headed type B. Although it looks slightly modified, as it almost matches a picture of one i found
-Seen a Carter 1N WW2 siren, a Whelen WPS-2903, and has heard Modulators and DSA's playing Evening Colours.
-Currently looking for undiscovered sirens in the UK.
-Also making a fantasy siren map for the UK aswell.

That's a Type B. The fire department removed the chopper so it wouldn't make noise, but it still goes off...

I've seen several photos of this siren before; I'm not certain who took them but someone got some nice drone shots of it before. This is in fact a second-generation Federal Type B, single head.

From what I've seen, it still has its rotor, but I don't know if it is still active. The Type B was offered in single and dual head configurations, like the Sterling M Series.
