My WAWAS Allertor

Fri Nov 05, 2021 3:12 pm

Hey all. I finished my visual restoration on my WAWAS three phase ACA Allertor 125. I got this one in March of 2021 from Lovettsville, VA. Supposedly the story goes that the fire department retained it after removal and forgot about it haha. I attached a pulley so I could belt drive it. Here’s the link to that - https://youtu.be/M2By26s5hGU The only thing it needs is all new bolts and nuts (I just threw on a couple to put it together) and a touch up of paint in a few areas.

You did a pretty good job on that, man! Judging by the fact you ran it up with a separate motor and belt in the video and the fact you said "visual restoration" and not just "restoration" or "full restoration", I'm assuming that you're probably going to restore the motor or get a new one for it since it doesn't work right now?
