I know I'm kinda reviving this thread, but I found this pdf with 186 of Trojan's sirens, with MORE detail. What I mean by that is that it has the siren's number, the db @100 ft, and if the siren rotates or not. You will find this on pg. 125.

https://inis.iaea.org/collection/NCLCol ... 046491.pdf

Now to the main point, scroll all the way down to page 116. You're going to have to play connect 4 with the 6 maps and place them to get the full map like me. 2a and 2b are great for the siren locations in Longview and Kelso!

I got most of Trojan's sirens mapped out. I plan on getting the map out by the end of this month. I had no idea how old this map is, but it truly seems to get the job done... hopefully.

Thanks SO MUCH for reviving the thread and for the PDF! I live in Portland and pass through Longview usually 5 times a year to get to my grandparents in North Washington. I'm also the owner of this siren map for the Pacific North West which is kept up to date and sirens are reconfirmed every so often as updated google map/sat data become available. I have mapped what I know exists in the Trojan system but will this new data, I feel obligated to check every single one and see if they still exist. I have already done 4 hours of work on it tonight so expect an edited version of the PDF map around a week from this post.

Already done! :D

Oh wow, I got to thank you for getting it done quickly. I'm about to wrap up my map soon and get the locations confirmed. It seems as if triangles are Federal Signal, though, I'm unsure about octagons though.

Totally! :D

So I really hate to say this but my ADHD got the best of me and I got hyper focused on this! I spent 4 hours last night and 5 hours today getting this done. I have completed the confirmation of the map locations and I found 2 sirens that no one knew still existed.
It seems as if triangles are Federal Signal, though, I'm unsure about octagons though.

Here is the symbol key for the original map as I have figured out all the symbols meanings:

Triangle = Thunderbolt 1000
Octagon = Model 5
Fully Shaded Circle or Square = Model 2
Half Shaded Circle = STH-10

As you mentioned, there is also more info on pages 125-130 of the PDF.

Siren W-16 is marked with a triangle and as a rotating siren in the Trojan Siren Information Table. Its actually Stirling M-10 but this leads me to believe that it replaced a Thunderbolt at some point.

I found 2 Federal Signal Model 2 sirens no one knew still existed and added them both to my Pacific Northwest Siren Map.

I included the compiled maps I put together below. Here is what the symbols/colors mean:

Green = Already knew existed and if no orange circle, it still exists as of January 2021.
Orange = Already knew existed but was unable to revalidate its exitance in my January 2021 check due to outdated map/satellite imagery data.
Blue = Siren found January 2021 thats existence was not know before hand.
Pink Cross = The WPS 3016 sirens that were added to the system later before the powerplant was decommissioned.
Red "X" = Manually confirmed that it no longer exists.
Yellow "X" = Unconfirmed that it still exists due to no street view data for that area.

Sorry, but nearly all the links are 404s. Maybe it’s just my device, but you might want to check.

Guess the links are goners. I suppose you're looking for the Trojan map so this document (https://inis.iaea.org/collection/NCLCol ... 046491.pdf) contains the sirens part of Trojan's EPZ along with 3 other NPPs. The Trojan map starts on page 116. Here's the key for the shapes on the map.

Triangles = Thunderbolts
Squares = Model 2s
Octagon = Model 5s
Half-Shaded Circles = STH-10s
Fully-Shaded Circles = Model As/Bs/etc...

You can find the decibel ratings of the sirens on page 125 if that interests you.

For remaining units that still exist, here's a map made by another user. Many of these units are still alive as of 2021.

https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewe ... 99998&z=10

And, just for a small snippet, a lot of the Trojan units were sold off to Oregon communities needing a tsunami warning system. The only two places I know that received them were Lincoln County (1 remains at the state park, others were replaced by SRNBs) and Tillamook County (which removed all of their units by late-2017/early-2018.)

The link to the pdf was fine, all the others though were 404. Thanks for the new link, also the Bolt along Alston-Mayger road in Oregon is actually a 1000A, not a B. I went there and all the wiring was 3 phase and the tag on it said 3 phase, which means the one in Quincy is probably 3-phase too. I got photos of both sirens(among practically all the sirens along hwy 30 and up into Ilwaco in Washington), and talked to someone at the Quincy station(who I think was the fire chief), who said that both had had frozen blowers for years, and that he was trying to get them fixed. I think I will contact him about Longview, maybe he could buy a new blower from them, and if so, Oregon will have active Bolts again for the first time since 2013(when Waldport’s were removed and replaced with phone alerts)!!!!

Those bolts were actually active until the blowers like... recently froze. One of them got shipped off and the other they’re still trying to unlock. I told them of a place in Vancouver that sold them and so... they may go that route too. Most of the Trojan thunderbolts have frozen or fried blowers. It’s kind of surprising that the waldport sirens weren’t ex Trojan sirens tho...
Own and love a Thunderbolt 1000 and a Model 5.

I have many hobbies and interests. And I love them all.

hate to bump but I read a paragraph somewhere and some sirens were re-purposed along the coast as tsunami sirens, anybody know what ones were re-purposed? I'm assuming canon beach repurposed their 3016s since one looks brown but I have many doubts to that since those had newer rotators compared to the early 80s rotators like the ones in Longview and kelso have.

i do not believe the sirens in cannon beach came from trojan. however, there are/were quite a few others. both model 5's and the model 2 in rockaway beach are 100% confirmed to have come from the trojan nuclear power plant. Along the nestucca river, a system of Ex-trojan model 2's warn of flooding caused by a dam failure. there are likely more sirens from trojan that are along the coast that have not been confirmed yet.
