Beaumont CA Sirens

Hello,
I thought I would start a topic discussing about Beaumont Californias siren system.
Information about the system
The Beaumont CD/VFD calling System consisted of 2 sirens, one at the current E 9th St and Orange Ave and the other at the Old City hall off of Grace and California Avenue (Cant find it).
Both sirens were tied into a system, and they did nooners every day.
The city hall siren is a mystery, and so is the Stewart Park one. The city hall siren was doing a test one day in 1970 and the siren literally exploded, which caused them to switch to pagers after.
The city also wants to preserve the Stewart Park siren, so it coming down or being sold is unlikely.
I will post some pictures and the two articles of the sirens below.
