Re: Standard Electric Model 50 horn documentation

Thu Dec 11, 2014 12:06 pm

Real nice score. I have a 110 VAC Auth electric labeled single "goose neck" version of this horn. Those horns were originally manufactured by Federal before the Vibratone series was created and re-branded by many other manufactures, especially Standard. Federal unfortunately has no documentation on these horns anymore. Best transformer to run one of those horns is a Edwards 596 6-18 volt https://www.edwards-signals.com/index.c ... 4&level=15. I have one that came with my 12VAC IBM 4030-2 and use it on all my 6 and 12 VAC horns and bells. Hope we get to hear it once you get a power supply.
Proud owner of a 2T, 5, M-5, 1000 Head, 7T, 3T22, and a single toned 2
