Malfunctioning Modulator in Louisville, KY

Wed Aug 12, 2015 11:55 pm

So here's this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWrEaG1 ... e=youtu.be

This thing looked good, but was in bad shape. It hiccuped on windup, and started off extremely soft, then got louder. Then it decided to switch to dual tone halfway through the "test." Then, at about 42 seconds in, you may hear a sound similar to that of a helicopter. Well, that was the siren, and it shut off shortly thereafter, with no winddown.

You may be able to hear a Thunderbolt in the background.

Sounds like this is somewhere downtown. Which Louisville Mod is this? I don't think you can hear any Tbolts from the part of downtown where it sounds like that Mod is.

So, I'm assuming that they know about the issue now, and as you said, they have turned off that siren for now?
I own: One complete SiraTone, another SiraTone control module, a 1600W MC, 2 old ATI controllers, 2 round ATI horns with drivers, a ATI-DSA 4 thing, a Federal Signal FC, AR timer and Siratrol, and a small CD&F.
