Model 2 Bearing Help

Mon May 18, 2020 2:54 am

Hello,

I am working on my model 2 and would like to know what bearings can be used to replace Norma 7015P Sealed Bearings as the seals in the old bearings for my model 2 have gone out. Any information would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Bearings are from a 1950's Federal Enterprises Model 2.

Nick silcox used ceiling fan bearings when fixing his 2. Here's a link to that video.

Shouldn't any bearing with the same dimensions and specs work?

I'm getting ready to tackle a sterling M10 so I've been researching bearings and obscure parts. Try a siren rebuilder or boneyard like west shore services or Werden electric. Federal still makes the model 2 so you could go to them.

87502s or 6202s should work since 2s and Thunderbolt choppers are the same thing, as stated here:

Ok. I just wasn't sure that that would fit on a Federal Enterprises model 2.

Also, do you know what website will have those bearings?

Thank you
