The end is near....

Fri Jul 10, 2020 11:19 pm

The end is near.... for Eldon Missouri's rare cyclone 120. They seem to be taking down alot of their older ACA sirens, like the 2 P-15s they had in their system, both replaced by whelen 2909s that I confirmed in person. I'm putting this out because I have a sneaking suspection that they are going to replace this cyclone in the near future. Any siren enthusiasts in Missouri should probably consider recording this one while there is still time. I also need someone to post the siren test time here for Eldon. You guys can check my missouri siren map that I will be updating soon.

I have recorded it during my trip to Missouri in 2015, but I lost the recording after I got a new camera. :(
I still post here, but not as much as I used to.

Sadly, no. Since it was 5 years ago it is VERY hard to remember.

Unless they get this whelen from Table Rock Alerting systems its probably going to be scrapped or rot in the back of some dealers lot.

If it goes to a salvage yard, maybe someone can obtain it. Possibly even you if you want. :)
