Never seen an STH-10 with a mount like this

My brother noticed this pole that used to have a siren on it. Judging by Google maps it was removed between December 2011 and 2013. It was in Grapevine, Texas. They mostly have 2001s and a few Modulator 6024s.

PS: Why is the control box yellow?

That's a really interesting mount! As for the yellow control box, that's likely due to the age of the siren. Federal Signal shipped their ARCH and RCM boxes, what they called various controls at the time, in Civil Defense Yellow for many years.
