Mystery World War Two Air Raid Siren, Bedfordshire, England

Sun Jan 23, 2022 8:57 pm

So I found this siren on a search for mystery sirens, and I came across this image. It looks like an old Scuba diver helmet attached to a wind directional thingy,, but on closer inspection it had horns. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&url= ... dAAAAABAW It looks like a very derpy siren. Can anyone see if they can figure out a model number or a company name?

I already seen this picture before, but honestly I don't think it's a siren, because it looks so small and doesn't even have projection horns
Maybe it is a siren but no documentation or other pictures of it exists
Maybe the photographer thinks it's a siren but it's not, it's like the video of someone who film an air raid siren but was actually filming a big diesell generator's exhaust that was cylinder shaped lmao.
I'm Belgian
So... Never heard a siren before :(

Not a siren, it looks like a diver's helmet.
I have a thing for objects that light up or make noise.

Wait, what? It was on a page full of sirens, and it was on the results for “Mystery Sirens” on google images.

Is this a coincidence, or is it just fake?

Sometimes, people mistake something for something else. As was already said, the photographer probably was unsure of what he was looking at. That is definitely not a siren.

Can’t be. I checked again and it said they don’t know if it is or not on another website. Probably just a mistake. You’re right.

Locked.

NotVoyager, I suggest you do some more research on these "mystery" sirens before posting. You've posted quite a few that are obviously fake or mislabeled.
