I'm always amazed to see sirens kludged together like that. I guess I'm fortunate to live somewhere that has funding available to repair or replace broken sirens.

It's a B&M 20-AR-7 with one of the rotors removed. Either the motor died or they didn't have three phase. It hasn't been used in 20 years and doesn't work anymore, according to the town.
Just a wolf, siren enthusiast and railfan.
