The location being California nudges me towards CAM, but I still have reservations about that. On the other hand, for some reason it looks like the Meckleysburg and Newell, PA, anomalies...
Now that you say that, it does seem like the sirens could be related. The horns seem similar, and the chopper seems fitting as well. It could still possibly be made by the same mystery company. That makes me wonder if there's any more Markleysburg or Dutch Flat sirens around that we haven't found yet...

That's what I was thinking too. The horns are similar to the two "Penn Specials," and dissimilar to the CAM "Air Raid Siren" (not familiar with the name).

I am definitely leaning towards it being a Japanese siren. It has 6 ports, appears to have a damper, and it's mounted on a steel tower structure with a bell on top, which are all common traits for Japanese sirens. Especially the fact that it is on a bell tower, sirens in Japan are commonly configured in that exact way, and they usually use steel towers of that style, rather than poles. It also looks much smaller than a typical American made siren. It has slightly shorter horns than most of the similar Japanese motor sirens I've seen, but there are so many variations by different companies of the same basic design.

It is an STL-10 with custom horns, below a fire bell, which is extremely cool to see

It has 6 horns and is far too small to be a STL.

Still the wrong dimensions and doesn't remotely resemble anything ASC besides the horns. Which again, there are 6 horns on this siren meaning it can't be a Tempest.

I and a few other enthusiasts knowledgeable about Japan's sirens have looked at this in the past and apart from minor resemblance it doesn't look like anything coming from there. This is most likely a local creation
Being 6 port single tone it can’t be based on any existing American core as far as I know. To me it looks a bit too well done to be a machine shop special but I could be wrong. It’s got both the bottom mounted motor and the top mounted damper assembly I’ve seen on Japanese sirens. Have you considered that it could be a Japanese model not previously known about?
I mean, Fedelcode Mach 10s came in 6/6 port... so there is at least one American siren that came in 6 port single tone.

Can't be any ASC siren. This siren is 6 port, which ASC has only made 8 port mechanical sirens. Plus, even if it was 8 port, it also has a damper on it to be used with the pulse signal, which no ASC mechanical siren is capable of.

Looks like one of those Japanese/Korean sirens. Not sure what company, but 6 port is very common there. Especially with that horn design being another very popular design in Japan/South Korea.
