Was there a Model 2 in Norfolk at one point?

Probably was but I couldn't tell you where. Norfolk; however, did in-fact have a system of Jailbar Thunderbolts from 1952-1990.

Carrsville's Sentry 5V is inactive and 16 port and there was indeed a siren at 36.67259, -76.78530, not exact coordinates

It appears to have been installed between october 2021 and june 2024!

Thanks! In recent news North Anna and Surry systems have had all of their sirens eradicated (or close enough to). By now the removals should be 95% done at both plants if the project was in track.

North Anna and Surry combined accounted for roughly 1/6 of the sirens (139 sirens) for the state of Virginia - so quite a major loss.

It's a Fedelcode model 5. The paint seems new, but I don't know anything about its activity.

It might sound with the rest of the sirens on the Tennessee side of town. There are also probably some more of those sirens on the Virginia side. I am working on figuring that out.
