Twins!

Sun Dec 19, 2010 10:20 pm

What could be better than one Sterling 2V8? Two of them!
We just crossed paths with a 2V8 we restored 7 or 8 years ago. We had the chance to grab it, so we did. There is a video of this one that is on our site at www.sirensforcities.com

I feel like the proud father of twins!

Must be meant to be, since you set it free and it came back.

It does still work. It was not replaced, the VFD was shut down.

If you don't mind me asking... What is the value on a sweet baby like that? What did you originally sell it to the VFD for?

The siren already belonged to the VFD, we just restored it. A completely restored 2V8, I might sell for $900 to $1,200. Depending what I had in it.
