Belt is probably slipping; the rotator is belt-driven right off the back of the chopper motor.

Superb. It sounds a lot like a rotating 3T22, or even a direct driven Thunderbolt.

A rare 10/12 model...not very many of these were made with a 10/12 chopper.

I'm guessing the rotator drive is actually taken off of the chopper motor. thus, initially the rotation speed is slow until it comes up to full speed- and notice the rotation slows as the siren winds down. AFAIK the ASC T-128 is the same way.

Nope, the 128 has a separate drive. It stops in attack.
