This is on top of a hill, but it's pretty low if we're talking about mount height.

That just seems so wrong. Tipton Kansas has an alertor that is basically mounted on the ground.

What about the alertronic AR-1600 by Schooly lodge at camp Tesomas. That's mounted just right above the lowest point of the roof
