The Mount Horeb (Madison, WI suburb) VFD has these twirling lights installed on one of their ambulances and their squad truck. Those will certainly attract your attention.

The squad truck has four Federal Qs on it as well. I believe images of it have been posted on this forum before.

I was talking about the K5LA on the roof, but 4 Federal Qs? That's extremely expensive and very power-demanding! Considering one K5LA could still drown those out and costs WAY less, I'm surprised they didn't go the train horn route.

Actually it's 2 Q's, the other 2 are just speakers.

That makes a lot more sense. It's still kind of an overkill though. Then again, so is a train horn.

The Q in the video I posted above seems to wind down kind of fast, despite the brake not running. Is this intentional?

No kidding. I couldn't tell they were speakers; they are covered with the Q grills. Now that I look more closely I can see that there isn't a stator beneath the grills though.

Roto-rays, a Q and a K5LA, yet I'm sure some idiots still won't pull over for this Squad. I heard there's a rescue in NYC that has one as well.

There's also a heavy rscue in NJ that uses a chrome plated New Cast P5

Seen At 2:18 as it's leaving a parking lot after a parade, also notice the 2 roto-rays, Heard at 4:58 with the Q blaring

That is probably the coolest fire truck I've ever seen! Thanks for posting.

Hilarious! You can never be too sure about people getting out of the way.

I've seen this one, but this ambulance isn't messing around either with its FLIPPING K5HL HORN: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZp6c1Iibdg&t=31s

Hey, I know you’re new, but we would appreciate it if you wouldn’t bump topics that have been dead for years. Thanks!
