CITIES:
Yes, St. Paul has had their 2001-130's for just over a year. The Thunderbolts roared for their last time late last spring (2012, monthly test). I haven't heard much about how they're working (reliability), but I would imagine things are going fine. They got a HUGE grant from FEMA, which I think covered everything besides removal of the old t-bolts and STH-10's (maybe even removals as well)...

Minneapolis has been replacing sirens as they fail with 2001's for some time now. I really doubt that they'll install ASC sirens, as a fair amount of their system (maybe 25-35 percent) is 2001's. It would make more sense to the politicians to install the same make of sirens as they have been installing as replacements; they've also had great luck with their 2001's performance-wise, so there's no way they'll be installing anything non-FSC, but they might "reach far" and get 508's.
SUBURBS:
Falcon Heights---1 Thunderbeam, not sure about others
Roseville---2001's
White Bear Lake---(2) Thunderbolt 1003's; one at each fire station: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37UJM_VhnMI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2FXc5bYZts ; (2) Allertors: Manor Park http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiWRavgkOnI County F & Hwy. 61 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxvH7MPftVA (1) STH-10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tevc73hJjZY
Blaine---(used to have Thunderbolts); I think they now have 2001's
Fridley---not sure
Brooklyn Center---(used to have 1 Thunderbolt and 3 Thunderbeams); now (4) 2001's
Brooklyn Park---mix of Thunderbeams, 2001's, possibly others
Maple Grove---(used to have Thunderbolts and Thunderbeams; if I'm not mistaken, they now have all been replaced. They also had one Model 5, which they've refurbished and installed in a new subdivision)---now 2001's
Plymouth---(my hometown :D ) (used to have (2) Soundmasters (not sure which model), one ACA Allertor, and (4) Thunderbeams)---still have all four Thunderbeams, but the Allertor and Soundmasters have been replaced with 2001's. They city has grown considerably over the years, and they've installed additional 2001's to compensate. This is the southernmost siren in the city, near my house in Lion's Club Park: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0rf0FeDuSo Video at my house (ambiance): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBTPCyQsGKo
Minnetonka---2001's.
New Hope---(used to have (2) Thunderbolt 1003's and (1) STH-10). They replaced one Thunderbolt 1003 that was on top of a school that was being demolished (I now own it--I'll be running it for its first full test soon! :D ) with a 2001-130 in 2010; the STH-10 was replaced in 2012 either because it failed or just as an upgrade. The other Thunderbolt 1003, as of early this spring, is still in service: (my video) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaWIyZlIpWA
Crystal---(1) P-10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYzzCQiGtdk (1) 3T22: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vco6gZPjPbg I think they have another siren, but I don't know what it is. It might be a 2001...
St. Louis Park---(I think) 2001's
Edina---(used to have ACA Allertors); now has 2001's
Richfield---ACA Allertor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8XUrRCFkzs and SD-10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kH8kOU4xws possibly others...
Eden Prairie---2001's and Allertors
Bloomington---(1) Thunderbolt 1003 (possibly a second one); 2001's
Burnsville---2001's
Lakeville---(used to have a 2T22 and Thunderbolt 1000T's); now has 2001's
Eagan---(used to have Thunderbolt 1000T's); now has 2001's.
I'm not sure about southeast metro sirens.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Andrew

The 2001-130 at Technology Drive and Flying Cloud Drive is actually an SRN/DC/SRN-B, the box isn't as tall as a -130. Also, a bit east of that 2001, is a Modulator 6024, at Prairie Center Drive & Technology Drive: http://goo.gl/maps/Muq1S

Your hometown is Plymouth! I have cousins that live off of Dunkirk Rd in Plymouth and I always wondered what sirens they had. This past easter, while leaving the city, by a Target store, I saw a 2001 DC? on the freeway shortly after passing Target. My grandparents live in White Bear Lake and Every time we go there, I snap a pic of the Thunderbolt at the fire station at County Rd E and McKnight road, closest siren to their house, Id HATE to see a 2001 at that station as much as i like 2001's. Nice info!

Did you know the ACA Allertor in White Bear is a rare 10/12 port model? It is the only working one to my knowledge.

Yes, I have heard people say that before, I have never actually heard it before, the only sirens in White Bear Lake that I have physically seen is the Allertor on county F, and The County Rd E 1003. And the STH-10 behind the Vadnias Heights watertower, but that is not apart of the WBL system.

Yeah!

Was that 2001 on I-494? That's the only 2001 next to a freeway in the entire northwest metro. There's a 2001-SRN next to the freeway just south of the interchange of I-394 and I-494. That's actually Minnetonka's siren, but I drive by it quite often!

Do not remember, I just remember driving towards a Target store, then turning onto a freeway before getting there.

In the map, the one I saw is labeled 2001 AC, because at first, i thought the 2001 was a black or brown roundback.
